March 18th 12-12:30 in the Moakley Lobby of the Boston Medical Campus-- chamber piece TBD with members of Palaver
Marching to a different beat means following your gut instincts, even if they lead you off the beaten path. Does your gut tell you to help others even though you're busy? Does it tell you to give back to your community in some way?
For us in Palaver, we believe we can give back by playing for others--especially those who don't have the chance to see live music at the moment. So this month we're March-ing to a different beat by playing a series of short performances at the Boston Medical Center. We may even give a surprise performance in a location near you-- be on the look out!
But this is not just for us--we encourage YOU to make a difference this month in any way that you can. Where will you do it? How will you go out of your way? Play music for people, volunteer at a homeless shelter, give up your spot on the T, or stop to open the door for someone.
Share a short blurb with us on our Facebook timeline of you making a difference and use the hashtag #MarchWithPalaver to spread the word about volunteering in the month of March.
